Peer Chattershah is a pious site that is situated at a distance of about 13 kilometers away from Kathua District in Parole Village. The Peer Chattershah is also famous for Nagri Parole, and a holy spring is located very close to the shrine (bolies). People trusted that the spring has medicinal properties, which can cure and heal all types of skin ailments when people take bath in the spring which is near the shrine (bolies).

The Dream - Recreation Park in Jammu and Kashmir

The Dream is a popular and beautiful recreation park which is come up along the canal of Kathua over 24 canals of area. The Dream Park was inaugurated on July 14, 1994, by the former Governor of Jammu and Kashmir or Retired State General Kotikalapudi Venkata Krishna Rao. The Dream is connected with a 1.5 kilometers long blacktopped road which takes off from the bridge of the canal which is near the District offices Complex. The tourists’ Department has also been introduced the facility of river rafting at the site.

Mata Bala Sundri Temple Nagri - Kathua

Mata Bala Sundri temple is a historic sacred temple which is located on the outskirts of Parole village. Mata Bala Sundri temple is around 13 kilometers away from the Kathua District. Mata Bala Sundri is also popular as Bala Ji Sundri. The Mata Bala Sundri Temple is covered by a grove of mango trees. According to the mythology, a Brahmin was cutting down the grass and then hit his sickle on a stone that started oozing blood out of it. Later, the mata came into his dream and ordered him to place a stone for worship under the banyan tree. Soon after the stone was considered to be the reincarnation of the sacred goddess and enshrined in the shrine. Several devotees came here during the popular festival of Hindus, Navratri. A big fair was held in this temple during the Navratri Festival. Bus service is also available from the Kathua district to reach Mata Bala Sundri temple.
