Chittorgarh District, Rajasthan

 One of the most majestic and ancient regions of the state of Rajasthan is the present day district of Chittorgarh. Situated in the south eastern part of the State, it was created on 1st of August, 1948 by integrating various princely states. Dating back centuries, it has been the home of the most courageous Rajput dynasties who defended it from the many invasion attempts by foreign invaders like the Mughals. If a place epitomizes everything that is Rajput, then this is it. Via Airports - Dabok Airport, Udaipur is the nearest airport to the district at a distance of 105 kms

Via Railways - The district headquarters Chittorgarh Railway Junction is a part of the Western Railway Zone of the Indian Railways. It is well-connected with most major cities of the State and the Country. 

Via Roadways - The district is connected via Golden Quadrilateral Road Project and the North-South-East-West Corridor Expressway to all major cities of the country. 

RSRTC ( Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation ) runs various buses connecting the district towns, villages and other cities of the state and the country
