Jamnagar District, Gujarat

The district of Jamnagar lies on the Southern coast of the Gulf of Kutch in the state of Gujarat. It was founded in the year 1540 by Jam Rawalji Jadeja and was a princely state named Nawanagar. After independence it became a part of India. In the year 2013, Devbhoomi Dwarka was carved out of its western part. The district has a huge marine access and has 9 ports and 3 lighthouses.

Via Roadways - GSRTC ( Gujarat  State Road Transport Corporation ) runs various buses connecting the district towns, villages and other cities of the state and the country. Private Luxury Bus Services are also available
