Delhi, the capital city of India, is also one of the Union Territories. Delhi have two different faces, the old Delhi built during the Mughal regime, and the New Delhi built by the British. The old Delhi have narrow lanes lined with crumbling havelis and mosques. The New Delhi is spacious lanes and avenues. The interesting thing about this city is, it was destroyed and rebuilt so many times. The city have very rich and diverse culture. Right from days immemorial, Delhi have been the political capital of many kingdoms and now the capital of India.

The entire city can be seen on the western banks of river Yamuna. Linked by rail, road and air the city is ever vibrant and also proves to be a shopping hub. Best season to visit Delhi is between September and March.
