 The district of Bundi lies in the Southeastern part of the state of Rajasthan. It is one of the most ancient places dating back to the 14th century. It was a princely state of the Hada Chauhans and is named after its founder, Bunda Meena, a tribal king.  The district of Bikaner lies in the north west part of the district of Rajasthan. It is a part of the Thar desert and is also referred to as the Desert District. Churu District, Rajasthan

 

The district of Churu lies in the northern part of the state of Rajasthan. It was founded by the Banirot Rajputs. It was a princely state for centuries and later on a part of the Bikaner State. After independence, it was formed in the year 1948 by combining the tehsils of Taranagar, Rajgarh and Churu. The district headquarter Churu is referred to as the Gate to the Thar Desert and the district is majorly a part of the desert. Temples, palaces, historical monuments, havelis, forts, unending sand dunes, ponds and sanctuaries are what attract tourists to the district. The sanctuaries are very popular due to the migratory birds that come from far off countries like Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Siberia etc. Exotic animals like Blackbuck attract wildlife enthusiasts.
