Ambedkar nagar is a small and serene place in Uttar Pradesh.It is about 180kms away from the state capital,Lucknow.It is also 60kms away from the birthplace of Lord Ram,Ayodhya.It was created on September 29, 1995 in the name of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar.The Session Division and Judgeship at Ambedkar nagar was created on 04 Nov 1999.

The Ambedkar Park in the city is a very popular picnic spot that is located in a beautiful landscape; it homes many birds and numerous herbs and shrubs.
