Protected Area Permit for foreign tourists to enter Arunachal Pradesh

Foreign tourists entering Arunachal Pradesh are required to obtain a Protected Area Permit (PAP), which can be obtained for a period of 30 days from the following authorities:

  1. Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India

As a royalty to the Government of Arunachal Pradesh, a fee of USD per head needs to be paid. The PAP can be applied through local approved tour operators.
